Are the vehicles insured?

We offer basic and premium reduced liability options for peace of mind. Alternatively, you can insure vehicles yourself, all you’ll need to do is bring along and present the Certificate of Currency upon pick-up.

What are the methods of payment?

You can pay by bank transfer.

How do I rent a vehicle?

You can rent a vehicle by simply clicking on the home button in the menu or by calling 1800 851 281. If you choose to reserve a vehicle online, we will contact you to confirm your reservation.

Can I change the vehicle type after the reservation?

Yes. If you would like to change or cancel your reservation after approving it, you can do this via the ‘Modify Reservation’ page otherwise please call 1800 851 281 or reach us by email provided on the Contacts page.

Where can I pickup and return the vehicle?

You can collect your vehicle at any one of our locations listed on the locations page. The vehicle has to be returned to an agreed location.

What should I do if the vehicle breaks down?

Should a vehicle break down and require roadside assistance, please call MB Roadside Assistance (operated by ISS) on 1800 033 557.

The process for roadside assistance is as follows:

  1. Operator contacts MB Roadside Assistance (operated by ISS), on 1800 033 557 and confirms vehicle details and location. This is a 24/7 service.
  2. ISS will contact the closest service support dealer or agent. If they are unavailable they will contact the next closest etc. There are 48 service dealers nationally.
  3. Dealer will contact the operator to discuss problem. Decision is made whether it can be rectified over the phone, whether a support vehicle and technician is sent out or if a tow truck is to be requested.
  4. All rental trucks will be covered under the VIP list to ensure the breakdown process runs smoothly without operators being asked for credit card deposits.
  5. Tyres and windscreens are not covered by the roadside assistance.
